Weird yet cool uses for Cola

There are many uses for around the house and in life that we can use coca cola instead of just drinking it. Hard to believe but true... The phosphoric acid is invaluable for some of the toughest projects you may find.
Here are just a few ideas to get you going:

Rust stains  - Tough to clean rust can be fixed by simply opening a bottle or can of the soda and covering the stain with it. Allow to sit for one hour, then just rinse and clean. Easy peasy! Best part... No scrubbing. This applies to tools too!

Toilet cleaner and lime scale scum cleaner- Do you need a cheap and easy way to clean the toilet and rid it of the nasty limescale buildup without shelling out the big bucks for expensive bowl cleaners? With only .50C or less costs per liter, coke is both cost effective and safe for the environment and people/pets. To get started measure out one cup of coke in a glass and pour it into the toilet making sure to cover all stains. Due to the gentle carbonic and phosphoric acid it contains, it will only take an hour or so to dissolve the "nastys" and you can scrub then flush and see the magical transformation yourself!

Removing charred or burnt food stains from pans- Believe it or not, a 1/2 cup poured directly on a burnt pot or pan and a little time (30min- 1hour) is all it takes to keep you from having to scrub your hands raw with frustration.

Cleaning blood or tough spaghetti stains from clothes- Apply enough cola to the clothing where the stain is located, let sit for 30 min, wash and stain should be gone!

Some of the other ideas include but are not limited by any means are:
-Getting rid of snails and slugs from a garden.
-Removing corrosion from a car battery terminal.
-Restoring the shine and glory to old coins and jewelry.
-Washing your hair with Coke is said to make the cuticle tighten which gives the look of smoother and softer hair thanks to the low pH. Just make sure to follow up with a good rinse to avoid a sticky mess.

As you can see there are a lot of cool and easy ways to turn Coke that we took for granite to use as a powerful and safe alternative to harsh chemicals for around the home. These tricks are not only cool in its nature, but also save you time and money. In my book, that's a "win, win."
